Former Google executive Matt Brittin appointed as BBC's new chief after Tim Davie resignation over Trump fiasco: Report

In January, the BBC said Director-General Tim Davie would step down on 2 April. Davie announced his resignation in November last year following widespread criticism of the BBC over the misleading editing of a video clip of US President Donald Trump.
