Crude oil futures decline as US extends Iran peace deal deadline
Crude oil futures traded lower on Friday morning after the US extended the deadline for Iran to secure a peace deal by another 10 days. At 9.09 am on Friday, June Brent oil futures were at $100.98, down by 0.89 per cent, and May crude oil futures on WTI (West Texas Intermediate) were at $93.63, down by 0.90 per cent.
