What is IFSC Code?
IFSC (Indian Financial System Code) is an 11-character alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies a bank branch participating in electronic fund transfers in India. The code is used in NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS transactions.
The first four characters represent the bank, the fifth character is always '0' (reserved for future use), and the last six characters identify the specific branch.
